The Yarn Basket has Moved!! The Yarn Basket, located in historic downtown Portsmouth, has been serving the Seacoast area for over 26 years. We offer a large selection of natural fiber yarns as well as many yarns that are currently so popular for socks, shawls, sweaters and baby items. We have the latest patterns, books and needles in every size as well as knitting accessories, needle cases and bags. Many models are on display serving as an inspiration for your projects - a fashionable shawl, sweater, hat, mittens or socks. The dedicated staff at the Yarn Basket works hard to provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
